About Us

Relief, healthcare, and education rooted in service.

The Darul Hikmah Institute International Inc. (DHIII) Medical Clinic officially opened its doors in March 2011, celebrating its grand opening with more than 500 members of the local community in attendance. From its very first week of operation, the clinic served an average of 40–50 patients each day, providing much-needed access to quality healthcare in an underserved region.

In addition to offering daily primary care services, the clinic has regularly organized specialized health screening programs every two to three months. These screenings focus on critical areas such as diabetes management, dermatology, eye care, women’s health, pediatric care, ear, nose and throat (ENT) conditions, oral health, and heart disease prevention. Medical specialists from surrounding cities volunteer their expertise to conduct these clinics, making essential healthcare services available to residents who would otherwise have little or no access to specialized medical care.

The clinic serves a population of approximately 50,000 people within a two-mile radius and nearly 100,000 people within a five-mile radius. The need for affordable, accessible healthcare in this community remains significant, while financial resources continue to be limited.

As a result, approximately 95% of all medical services are provided free of charge. The remaining 5% of patients pay a highly subsidized fee—typically only 25–50% of the standard rates charged by other healthcare providers in the surrounding area.

In 2023, the day-to-day operations of the DHIII Medical Clinic were formally transitioned to Al Khidmat Foundation Pakistan, one of the country’s largest and most respected humanitarian and social welfare organizations. Established in 1990, Al Khidmat Foundation has built a nationwide network dedicated to serving vulnerable communities through healthcare, education, disaster relief, orphan care, clean water initiatives, livelihood support, and community development. With decades of experience operating hospitals, medical centers, ambulances, and community health programs throughout Pakistan, the Foundation brings extensive expertise in delivering high-quality, affordable healthcare services.

Today, under the management of Al Khidmat Foundation Pakistan, the clinic continues its longstanding mission of providing compassionate, accessible healthcare to the local community. The partnership has strengthened the clinic’s operational capacity while preserving its commitment to ensuring that quality medical care remains available to those who need it most, regardless of their financial circumstances.

DHIII is an independent, US Tax-Exempt Non-Profit (Tax ID 26-2350324), Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) founded in the USA in 2008.
